Actress Rita Edochie celebrates as she welcomes grandchild

Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has welcomed her grandchild.

The actress’ daughter, Nkiru Ibekwe delivered of a bouncing baby girl after some hours in the labour room, the actress who could not hold her joy calls to all Nigerians to join her in thanking God.

She shared the photo on her Instagram page writing:

“My GREAT PEOPLE in the world please join me and thank GOD almighty my daughter Mrs Nkiru Ibekwe was delivered of a baby girl yester night 3rd May 2018. GOD take all glory ��.”

Rita Edochie started her acting career as an actress in 1997. She is a famous face in the Nollywood movie industry.

Contrary to the rumour that Rita is married to Pete Edochie, she is married to the younger brother of Pete Edochie. Rita Edochie has been married to Tony Edochie for over 30 years now.
