Boko Haram Says Abu Qaqa Still Alive

A YouTube video clip released by the Jama’atu Ahlis Sunnah Lidda’awati Wal Jihad, also known as Boko Haram says the blasphemous movie against Prophet Mohammed which was released in the United States will not be allowed to go unpunished.

The clip, which was released on the eve of the 52nd Independence Anniversary of Nigeria, spotted Abu Muhammed Shekau, the leader of the sect threatening violent attacks against establishments.

Shekau, who also debunked claims by security forces and the cross section of the media that the spokesman of the group, Abul-Qaqa is dead, alleged that his members were being extra judicially killed while their women were being maltreated in custody.

In the message, which was broadcast in Hausa, Shekau said, “To those who assume the role of emperors, by God, you have not found refuge, you have not found peace, whether we are around or not. By God, you have invited wrath upon yourselves.

All we ask for is Allah’s divine help and we are optimistic Allah will assist whoever is committed to Islam.” On the blasphemous movie, Shekau said, “Insult against the Prophet? Evil plots against him? Making blasphemous movie against him? All these will do no harm to Islam. Anybody plotting this will surely pay for it,” he said.

Shekau said there was no iota of truth in the repeated declaration by the Federal Government in respect of dialogue.

“But they (top government functionaries) will come out and say ‘we want dialogue, we are now engaged in dialogue’. Bloody liars! We have never sat down with anyone in the name of dialogue,” he said.

“They always concoct lies and claim that they have arrested some top leaders of a satanic name called Boko Haram…that they have engaged us in dialogue. We have never sat with anybody in the name of dialogue.  Nobody asked for that. It is all lies.

“They (security agents) came out on the radio and told the world that Abul Qaqa, our media chief, was arrested and that he later died in hospital. It is not true, the actual fact is that Qaqa is alive,” he said. “But we would not be surprised if they kill him today in other to perfect their evil plans,” he added.
