The year is coming to an end and several experts have been working towards combining a list of artistes who had success in 2016.
Here are the top ten highest earners in the music industry this year.

10. Korede Bello
He makes most of his earning this year from digital sales. He has an active endorsement with GLO which also helps boost his pay. His estimated 2016 earning is between 60-100 million naira.
His digital sale boosted his earnings as he enjoyed a very high number of views on Youtube. He dropped 6 singles in the last 12 months and he has fans beyond Africa. Estimated 2016 earning is between 80 - 110 million naira
8. Kiss Daniel
Kiss Daniel headlined shows within and outside Nigeria. He made a tonne from his shows. He dropped an album, New Era in 2016which is one of the best-selling albums in Nigeria this year. His 2016 estimated earning is between 90-110 million naira.
Phyno had several successful singles in the last 12 months and made a lot from digital sales. He made quite a bit from concert and shows. He also has endorsement deals with Guinness and Nairabet. His estimated 2016 earning in between 100-160 million naira.
Davido earned well from digital sales and his successful tours. He signed a deal with Pepsi said to be worth 100 million naira. He also has a deal with MTN. He earned between 150-180 million naira this year.
He dropped an album December 2015 which amassed big sales. He also dropped many big hits and headlined a lot of shows in 2016. He has endorsements with Etisalat, Surebet, Ciroc and Guinness. His 2016 earning is between 150-200 million naira.
Wizkid made a lot of sales from his Ojuelegba remix, featuring Drake. He also earned royalties from the song One Dance. He had a world tour in 2016 and endorsement deals with Glo and Pepsi. This year, he earned between 150-220 million naira.
3. Tiwa Savage
According to Music+, Tiwa's RED album is the most bought album on the platform. It also did great on iTunes and YouTube. She has endorsement deals with MTN, Forte Oil, Pampers, Maggi, Konga and Pepsi. Her 2016 earning is estimated to be between 150-250 million naira.
The singer was called for a lot of shows and went on a tour this year. He did not make much from digital sales but he did make quite a bIt from brand endorsements like Ciroc, Glo, Bank of Industry, SLOT and MTN. He earned between 200-250 million naira.
1. Peter Okoye
Peter Okoye made the most money in 2016. He made a lot of money from brand endorsements. Peter has deals with Nutricima, Adidas, Kia, MerryBet, Football Academy and Adidas. He earned between 200-300 million Naira this year.
