Fake TVC journalist nabbed in Lagos

Soji Gboye, a fake journalist who claimed to be working with Television Continental (TVC), has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos state task force.

Vanguard reports that the 36-year-old was picked up alongside 67 other miscreants and hoodlums during a raid carried out in Maryland area of Lagos state over the weekend.

In his address, Chairman of the agency, SP Olayinka Egbeyemi confirmed the residence of the suspect to be 5, Adesoye street, Mende, Maryland.

Soji Gboye was recently arrested in Lagos for claiming to work with a media outfit when he doesn't.

Soji, an indigene of Ilaje in Ondo state, was reportedly arrested during an interrogation after he found it difficult to identify himself to the agency.

And on investigating further with the management of the media company, it was discovered that the man was nothing but an impersonator and had never at any point worked with them.

According to findings from the investigation, the man explained that he disguised as a journalist just so that he would have his way with men on uniform.
