The convener of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group Oby Ezekwesili, co-Convener Aisha Yesufu, spokesman for the Chibok community, Manasseh Allen and Ibrahim Usman on January 16, joined the ministry of information on an Air Force mission in search of the Chibok girls.
Ezekwesili made the trip after taking up a challenge thrown at her and the group by the Nigerian government about how the rescue work for the girl is being done and what is being done to care for their parents.
The group before joining the search had given the federal government certain conditions.
Upon her return from Sambisa forest Ezekwesili, revealed details of what she found out in the former stronghold of Boko Haram terrorists.
The outspoken former minister of education in series of tweets on her verified twitter handle @obyezeks in the early hours of Tuesday, January 17, said capturing Camp Zero is not like capturing Sambisa because it is a vast area.
This however, is in contrast to the Army's claim that Nigerian Armed Forces are in total control of Sambisa forest.
Going further, she said: "So, could OUR #ChibokGirls&other abducted citizens be STILL WITHIN the vast field of Sambisa other than Camp Zero? YES. So, NAF searches on."
