Mother joins son as people pour water on them his graduation

This is truly touching! As expected graduation from the university is usually an occasion for celebration. It marks a successful rite of passage for many Nigerians.

This young man and his mother took it a step further as we can see. The young man named Jibola posted a picture of himself on his graduation day on Instagram.

He used the caption:

" 'Graduation is a time of completion, of finishing, of an ending, however, it is also a time of celebration of achievement and a beginning for the new graduate.' Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning."

Then he posted a picture of his mum celebrating with him as well-wishers drenched them with sachets of water in the Nigerian style.
