The photo which is now currently trending on the Biafra Facebook page, shows a certain Islamic burial rite which now is now being used as a tool for propaganda - with claims that the "burial rite" being observed, is of the nation's President Muhammadu Buhari.

As a responsible media, we hereby condemn and dissociate ourselves from the attempt to drag Legit.ng into an unethical scheme which can cause public disorder and bring our name into disrepute.

The photo in question is obtained from one of our reports on the 2015 Kogi election, specifically from the late former governor of Kogi state, Abubakar Audu's burial which held on November 23, 2015 in Ogbochia.

Below is a video that further proves that its is not as being alleged, from a burial of the nation's commander-in-chief.

Legit.ng is a reputable media outfit and will not stand for any unethical practice. We state clearly that the photo making the rounds must be disregarded, as it seeks only to spread falsehood and disrupt the political stability in Nigeria.
