UPDATE: Jealous Air Force officer who shot dead his girlfriend has been arrested (photos)

The jealous air force officer, Lieutenant Kalu, who shot dead his girlfriend has been arrested and his currently in custody.

Lieutenant Kalu allegedly shot his girlfriend/colleague, Oladipupo Solape, to death on Sunday, March 12, in Markurdi Benue state.

The public relation officer at the Benue Air Force base, Emmanuel Iheoma, while confirming the incident, disclosed that the case is under investigation.

Iheoma revealed that Kalu’s blood sample has been taken in for investigation. He added that the accused has been taken into custody of the Air Police.

According to witnesses, Kalu killed his girlfriend after he accused her of cheating.

It was later gathered that Kalu left a note with the assumption that he was going to kill himself after he kills Solape.
