Senator Biodun Olujimi has lambasted the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration of pretending that there is nothing wrong with the composure of Nigeria Customs Service boss Col. Hameed Ali (rtd.) with the Senate.
Olujimi representing Ekiti south senatorial district while contributing to letter sent to the Senate by the Attorney General of Federation, Abubakar Malami over the Customs boss, said that the action of Ali is a breach of Constitution and a grand display of arrogance.
"Executive is sitting pretty and pretending nothing is wrong”, she said.
In a related development, the Nigerian Senate has declared Nigeria Customs Service boss unfit to hold a public office and ultimately demanded his resignation.
The Senate resolved that Ali should resign his post after he again failed to appear before the lawmakers as directed by the upper house of legislature on Thursday, March 16.
