The march will take off from the Unity fountain to the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group has said.

The archbishop of Abuja diocese Cardinal John Onaiyekan and the Imam of the Central Mosque in Abuja Imam Ustaz Muhammad will lead the march for the demand of the rescue of over 200 schoolgirls kidnapped in April 2014.

The march which will commence at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 11, will take off from the Unity fountain to the Presidential Villa, the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group has said.

Among demands made by the group include the safe rescue of the girls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists from their hostels in Government Secondary school in Chibok, Borno state.

NAIJ.com gathered that the group, led by a former minister of education Obiageli Ezekwesili have also released a schedule of activities for the four year commemoration of the girls who have remained in captivity.

On Monday, April 10, singer and television presenter Charles 'Charly Boy' Oputa embarked on a solemn march in demand of the rescue of the girls.

Charly Boy while marching in Abuja was dressed in the symbolic red colours of the BBOG group.

He also carried a banner which read: #IMarchForChibokGirls, #ChibokGilrs will never remain voiceless, My Voice is theirs, what about yours?, #3yearsTooLong, #NoMoreExcuses, #BringBackOurGirls.

Cardinal John Onaiyekan and Imam Ustaz Muhammad will lead the march today, April 11

Recall that since the girls' abduction, the BBOG group have been steadfast in their demand for government accountability and inclusiveness in efforts made to rescue the girls.

The group have also called for the equipping and improvement of the welfare of soldiers fight insurgency which have ravaged the North-East region of Nigeria.
