Buhari is chasing after ghosts - Reno Omokri

- Reno Omokri has lashed out at Buhari's government

- Omokri said that the APC government is not transparent

- He said Buhari's working from home is a laughable development

Reno Omokri has said that Buhari's government is chasing shadows.

The former special aide to Ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, made a series of Facebook rants about the APC-led government.

Omokri's focus was the report alleging that President Buhari would start working from home.

The cleric said: "A ghost President, with ghost achievements fighting ghost workers with an EFCC that goes after ghost monies in apartments owned by ghosts. This is what President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC have reduced Nigeria to!

"There is a certain person saying that you should not criticize the weak and that we should keep quiet and allow the President work from home and that criticizing him has spiritual implications.

To that person I ask a question: Was Moses unspiritual when he took on Pharaoh even after pharaoh had suffered plagues and had lost his first son?

Or was Muhammadu Buhari unspiritual when he criticized Yar'adua when Yar'adua was in the same situation as him?

Or was Olusegun Obasanjo unspiritual when he advised Yar'adua to tow the path of honour?

Who loves President Buhari between patriots who are urging him to do the honorable thing and a man who is urging a President who obviously needs a retirement home to stay and ruin what is left of his health by ruling the most complicated nation on earth from home?

It was careless talk like yours that made Yar'adua cling to power instead of temporarily surrendering it to cater to his health: Please if you do not know how to play politics better keep kwayet and face your area of specialization."

Omokri added: "I urge any civil servant who is being queried or has been sacked for absenteeism to sue the FG. If President Muhammadu Buhari can work from home and still collect full salary, why can't you? If the man with the most vital job can do his job from home, why should civil servants with less vital duties come to the office? What is sauce for the goose must also be sauce for the gander.

Mugabe that you all criticize doesn't work from home even at age 93. Even Pope Benedict XVI, whose home was his office, resigned in 2013 when his health could not handle the demands of the papacy. It is not about age. It is about capacity. You said the same thing about Yar'adua. President Buhari, if you cant cope, temporarily hand over to Osinbajo! It does not have to be permanent. Go and take care of yourself. Aso Rock is a Presidential Villa not a retirement home!"
