- Omokri says FG has made Kanu a super star and has popularized the struggle for Biafra as a result of his arrest
- He says he never heard of Nnamdi Kanu before his arrest
Reno Omokri, a former special assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, has said that arresting leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, was one of the mistakes of the President Muhammadu Buahri’s government.
According to him, the federal government has made Kanu a super star and has popularized the struggle for Biafra as a result of his arrest.
Omokri claimed that he never heard of Nnamdi Kanu before his arrest.
He disclosed this on Wednesday, May 3, on his Twitter official handle. See below:
NAIJ.com reported that Nnamdi Kanu was freed on Friday, April 28, after meeting his bail conditions which IPOB and family members said was too stringent.
However, Senators Ekweremadu and Abaribe played a major role in perfecting Kanu's bail conditions.
