The 2019 presidential campaign vehicles of Alhaji Sule Lamido, a former governor of Jigawa state on Sunday, May 7, surfaced online.

It was gathered that Lamido 2019 presidency ambition was said to be championed by some northerners.

Like many other politicians, Lamido’s handlers attributed his arrests to his rising profile.

His 2019 campaign poster had surfaced at the secretariat of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state.

Sule Lamido had last year said he will contest for presidency on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019.

Lamido announced this while briefing journalists in his village Bamaina in Birnin-Kudu local government area of Jigawa state.

However, he noted that the presidential ticket was not given to anybody on the platter of gold, stressing that a candidate must earn it.
