Another young Nigerian declares interest in running for presidency

- Emmanuel Oseh declared his ambition to be Nigeria's president in 2023

- He said it was time for the old politicians to give way

- He credited the new president of France as his inspiration

Another young Nigerian, Emmanuel Oseh, has declared his intention to run for Nigeria’s presidency in 2023.

In an exclusive report to Legit.ng, Emmanuel said it was time for the old people to go so as to give way to new Nigerians to take over the rein of politics.

He said he is in Europe on political training and that the election of Emmanuel Macron as president of France at the age of 39 was an inspiration for him to also contest Nigeria’s presidential election in 2023.

My name is Emmanuel Oseh, from southern Nigeria, Edo state.

"I was so inspired by the new elected French President Emmanuel aged 39.

"For time past in the history of Nigeria, the so-called politicians (old men) has not given youth the opportunity for Executive leadership.

"The Bible says the glory of the old one are their grey hairs and d beauty of young ones it's there strength. So, I think if young Nigerians are giving opportunity to rule the country would advance in all ramifications.

So I am calling on all young and spirited Nigerians both home and abroad to come together so we can take power from the old men since they failed to do what is right.

I want to be Nigeria president in 2023. Am currently in Europe on political training, I need support of Nigerians so we can transform her to where she ought to be.

His own declaration is coming a few days another Nigerians living abroad, Ibrahim Abubakar Lajada, also expressed interest in being Nigeria's president in 2019.
