The agency said it has a 'water tight' case against the state's emirate council.

The chairman of the Kano state Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission Muhyi Gado said its probe against the council will remain suspended to avoid concurrent investigation.

NAIJ.com recalls that the anti-graft agency had alleged that the Kano state council under the leadership of Emir Muhammad Sanusi II mismanaged N6 billion of its funds.

While a court had given an order mandating the agency to suspend its investigation against the council, the Emir has however denied providing details of expenditure of the emirate.
