President Muhammadu Buhari's wife, Aisha Buhari has laid the foundation for the Aisha Buhari Maternity Centre at the Daura General Hospital.
The 50-bed maternity centre will be a huge boon to women in the state and provide healthcare facilities for the newborn.
NAIJ.com gathered that she was accompanied by Mrs Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the acting president and joined by other women in Daura.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, May 10, Aisha Buhari, Nigeria's first lady pledged her support to help the recently rescued Chibok girls get resettled.
Mrs Buhari also advised the girls to let go of the past and acquire skills to be self-reliant for the future.

She met with the girls in Abuja, accompanied by the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, and the Minister of Women’s Affairs, Jummai Alhassan.
