Lagos residents stand up to policemen who allegedly shot at them (photos, video)

Some Nigerian police officers have been captured on camera as they allegedly harassed residents of a community in Lagos state.

Legit.ng came across the shocking video on Instagram after one of the residents who filmed the incident shared the video on Instagram.

In the video, the officers who wore black police polo shirts were seen holding and pointing their rifles at the residents who bravely faced the officers.

Although nothing could be heard from the heated argument between the police officers and the residents, someone could be heard telling the officers that they refused to do their jobs properly.

A resident said: “Thieves are outside you are not catching them.”

The video also showed one of the officers firing his gun at one of the residents who dodged just in time before he was hit in the leg.
