Fani-Kayode, former minister of aviation, has blasted Adamu Adamu, Nigerian minister of education for working 'with the government that is wasting people’s lives'.
The former minster who reacted to the detention of leader of the Islamic Movement, (IMN) Sheikh Ibrahim El Zakzaky and his wife Zeenat whom he said have been in the DSS custody since all this while.
NAIJ.com reports that El-zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, and Sambo Dasuki, a former National Security Adviser, have been in detention for more than one year.
Kayode who advised the education minister urged him to seek ways to secure release of his leader and his wife.
He wrote on Twitter, via @realFFK: “Adamu Adamu is Minister of Education.
“He is a Shiite Muslim. How can he serve in a government. that slaughters and commits mass murder against his Shia brothers and sisters and that mutilates and blinds their leader and locks him and his wife up illegally and indefinitely. Shame on him!

“It is the will and law of God to fight for freedom, equity and justice. Our cause is just.
“What we must NOT do is use violence or shed blood.”
NAIJ.com recalls that Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant to the President, on Tuesday, May 24, said Ibraheem El-zakzaky detention was for his own safety.
The president’s aide said Dasuki, the former NSA was still being investigated for other allegations and could not be set free yet.
