Hope Niger Deltans will remain calm when Jonathan’s home is raided - APC chieftain

- The EFCC raided the Kaduna home of the immediate past vice president, Namadi Sambo

- Sambo’s northern kinsmen did not stage an uproar over the incident

- Ayobami Oyalowo hopes Niger Deltans would act in the same way when Goodluck Jonathan’s home is also raided

Ayobami Oyalowo, a deputy director of media and publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation has shared his position on the recent raid of the home of the immediate former vice president Namadi Sambo by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Writing on his Twitter handle named The Godfather, Oyalowo noted that even though Sambo is a northerner, none of his kinsmen took to the streets to protest the raid.

He hoped that the same calmness would be received from the kinsmen of Sambo’s former boss Goodluck Jonathan if the latter’s own home is raided by the EFCC.

Oyalowo tweeted:

Recall that NAIJ.com previously reported that heavily armed security operatives from various arms of the security services led by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission on Wednesday, June 28, stormed the Kaduna residence of former vice president Namadi Sambo.

The operation which lasted several hours saw the operatives cordoning off the No 1 Alimi road residence of the former number 2 man while some of the operatives went into the residence ostensibly to carry out a search.
