- Gospel artists Nathaniel Bassey put together a praise night called Hallelujah Challenge
- Many celebrities are partakers of the midnight praise that lasted for one hour even on social media
- One of the participants survives fatal accident on his way home from the praise night and the convener shares his testimony on his Instagram page
Gospel artist and Hallelujah Challenge organiser Nathaniel Bassey has reason to thank God for sparing the life of one of the participants of the praise night.
With just two days to his birthday and end of the Hallelujah Challenge, a partaker survived a ghastly auto crash in Lagos on June 28 while on his way home from Glitz event centre, the venue of the praise night.
According to Bassey who shared the story on his Instagram, the devil rears its ugly head and people felt the occupants of the car were dead till they came out alive.
He shared photos of his car and wrote:
“Thank You Jesus!
We cancel that appointment with death.
#####Good morning, I just want to use this opportunity to thank God and share my testimony with you. On the 28th of June I was on my way home from the last halleluyah praise challenge night which took place at the glitz event centre,I was inside a car and another car ran into us just at the Lekki 3rd round about (Ikate) and my car somersaulted inside the roundabout. People were scared that we were dead. The only thing I remembered saying last was the Blood of Jesus. I and the driver came out alive without a single scratch. The most amazing thing is that this happened two days to my birthday. I just want to bless God because the devil failed. He is the olowogbogboro indeed and I bless his name. OlowogbogboroolowogbogboroAnonymous.”
Hallelujah Challenge is a one hour praise night that held between 12 - 1 am throughout the month of June. It started on June 1 and ended on June 30.
