Disagreement has happened between Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Igbo leaders over the issues of restructuring the country.

Reports have it that the Igbo leaders and Ohaneze Ndigbo had reportedly settled for restructuring of Nigeria instead of the actualization of a sovereign state for Biafra.

Ndubisi Anaenugwu, the director of information of the pro-Biafra group, made this known in Nnewi on Wednesday, July 5.

Anaenugwu said his group members wanted to have self-determination and Biafra nation, adding that the agitation on restructuring has become the thing of the past.

He noted that there is nothing Ohaneze and the other Igbo leaders can do to make the group a member of 50 years marriage as one nation “that has not been working.”

The director of information of the pro-Biafra group further said that the hunt for Biafra was their absolute rights as an indigenous people.

He however promised that his group would support the governorship election in Anambra state on November 18.

Customary Government of the Indigenous People of Biafra is ready to die with anybody who wants to rig the election.

''And we must not boycott it because we would be protecting the interest of the party that recognises us. This is our declaration,” he said.

Also, Anthony Aniebue the prime minister of the pro-Biafra group, agreed with Anaenugwu when he said the group was not known for violence.

Aniebue disclosed that the group would support any political party that danced to the tune Biafra believe in.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that a coalition of Niger Delta youths has vowed not to join in the Indigenous People of Biafra in its bid to divide Nigeria.

The youths who gathered under the umbrella of Niger Delta Youth Congress (NDYC), said the south-south region is not part of Biafra land.
