Reno Omokri has said that the attempt by members of the House of Representatives to summon the former President Goodluck Jonathan is a mere distraction from the happenings in Nigeria.
Omokri on his Facebook page on Friday, July 7, said the present administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari is currently playing mind games with Nigerians.
He said the House of Representatives members are working towards distracting Nigerians from the health conditions of President Buhari
He said the present administration has failed to intimate Nigerians on the whereabouts of President Buhari and only feels they can distract the populace by summoning the former president.
Omokri said: "When you do not see the President that is leading you today and cannot give any convincing answer to the question of where he is, you will want to cause distraction by summoning the President who led you yesterday. It is all mind games."
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that members of the House of Representatives summoned the former president to explain elaborately, his alleged role, in the controversial Malabu Oil deal.
The lawmakers said it is important for former President Jonathan to clarify his role in the awarding of the OPL 245 oil bloc licence.
