Ekiti state’s governor, Ayodele Fayose, has insisted that he could become Nigeria’s president, but said he relies on God to attain this enviable feat.
PM NEWS reported that Governor Fayose he would become the president through divine intervention.
Fayose, who reportedly spoke at the 13th convocation lecture of the Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, Edo state on Friday, described himself as the man to watch.
NAIJ.com learnt that while talking about how he would become the president, Fayose said he would rely on the power of God.
“With God, nothing is impossible
“It is carnality that makes you look at me and think I cannot be president.
“I am the man to watch in this generation. I surely will become the president.
“Something has to give way for you to manifest,” he said.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that Governor Ayodele Fayose accused some elements in the All Progressives Congress (APC) of conniving with the Department of State Service (DSS) to implicate him.
Fayose said he has intelligence report that he is to be implicated in a treasonable offence which would lead to his arrest as well as those of some of his appointees.
