Aisha reportedly depressed over Buhari’s health

- Online newspaper, Sahara Reporters claims the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari has been restricted from seeing her husband in London

- The newspaper alleges that Aisha is not staying at Abuja House in London with her husband but living at a rented apartment

- The media outlet also claims the president is incoherent

A report by online newspaper, Sahara Reporters, claims the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari, has been restricted from seeing President Muhammdu Buhari who is ongoing medical treatment in London.

Legit.ng recalls that Aisha Buhari on July 2, left Abuja to visit her ailing husband in London, according to a statement by Suleiman Haruna, director of Information to the wife of the president.

But Sahara Reporters has stated that contrary to believe that Aisha is with her husband in London, she is not staying at Abuja House in London with her husband, but living at a rented apartment.

The outlet alleged that old photos of Aisha and her husband were circulated online to make it seem like the wife of the president met with her husband.

The online media also claims that the wife of the president visits Buhari only when allowed.

The newspaper, citing an unnamed presidency source stated that Aisha met with the president for dinner on July 9, but left depressed due to the president’s incoherence.

Legit.ng could not verify the claims by Sahara Reporters which had also reported that President Muhammadu Buhari has developed speech difficulties in London.

Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC), says President Muhammadu Buhari is fast recovering from his illness contrary to allegations that he is on life support.

The national chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun, gave the assurance in Abuja on Friday, June 30, while speaking with newsmen at the end of a meeting between the party`s national working committee (NWC) and state governors elected on the party’s platform

Oyegun, however noted that Buhari will only return to the country after his doctors abroad certify him fit to do so, The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
