Secondary students create 'high velocity' rocket in Anambra state

Nigeria is a nation that is largely populated by creative minds, this time, some genius students have grabbed headlines after unveiling their laudable invention.

NAIJ.com came across a video of some genius students from Onitsha, Anambra state in South-East Nigeria, who made a 'high velocity rocket'.

One of the students who spoke in Igbo, narrated how they made the 'rocket', stating that they added carbide to the upper chamber, while stating that some gas was added to the second chamber.

Some of the onlookers beckoned on others to contribute money, so that the boys can be encouraged.

The students narrated how they made the rocket

The onlookers asked for the names of their school and their age, to which the boys revealed that they were students of the Government Technical College, Onitsha, stating that they were both 16 and 17 years old respectively.
