Mohammed also dismissed reports of discord between Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and ministers in Buhari’s cabinet.

He said there was no difference between the acting president and President Muhammadu Buhari.

“There is no division between the Acting President and the Cabinet, there is no division between the Acting President and Mr President,” Lai Mohammed said.

The minister urged the media to be responsible in its reportage about events happening in the country, adding that reports about divisions were are just fictions of the imagination.

He said: "Most of the people who consume these hate speeches don’t know much better, otherwise they will know that there is absolutely no truth in what is being circulated. All these talks about division, I think they are just fictions of the imagination but they have a purpose which is to weaken this government.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian military has denied an alleged coup plot against Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.

Instead, it restated its loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari, who is the country’s Commander-in-Chief, as well as other political officers including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

In a statement on Thursday, July, 13, by Major General John Enenche, director of defence information, and obtained by NAIJ.com, the military frowned against a report that recently warned the security agencies against supporting a planned coup by the cabal against Osinbajo.

The statement urged Nigerians to see the report as false.

In the video below, NAIJ.com TV asked some Nigerians if they are tired of the present government. Watch responses.
