A Malawian preacher living in South Africa has received a luxury Rolls-Royce from his wife as his anniversary gift.

"Prophet" Shepherd Bushiri took to his popular Facebook page to share photos of the posh car and to praise and thank his wife.

In the post, the prophet shared examples of loves stories in the Bible, such as Abraham and Sarah as well as Jacob and Rachel.

Bushiri said: "This may look like a show off to others but for me it is a public appreciation as any normal husband would do."

He continued: "The fact I am a Prophet does not substitute the fact that I, too, am a husband. That being said, I would also want to feel the same love and appreciation every normal man would want to feel."

Bushiri added: "I would like to say thank you to the world's best wife for the Rolls Royce Ghost black barge model 2016. This will motivate me as I serve Christ and not only me but many who you inspire as a wife of a prophet, seasoned business woman, C.E.O of Shepherd Bushiri Investments and above all, a believer of Christ."

His post went viral, garnering more than 23,000 reactions, 3,600 comments and 1,400 shares. Many commenters hailed the love between Bushiri and his wife.
