Nigerian woman declares interest in 2019 presidential election

- Nigerians will be returning back to polling stations to elect their leaders in 2019

- Politicians have started their campaigns underground

- Some others have come out openly to declare their interest in various positions

- One of such people is Edo-born Monica Ambrose who is based in The Netherlands

A Nigerian woman based in The Netherlands has declared her interest to vie for the presidency in 2019.

Edo-born Monica Ambrose who has been based in The Netherlands for 17 years, says she wants to change Nigeria by running for President in 2019.

Monica, who is also a mother of three, called on Nigerians to support her in her quest to become the country's number one citizen.

She stated that she will contest under a political party named Nigerian Peoples in Diaspora Party (NPD).

Legit.ng checks however reveals that there is no party with such name under the registration of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

She also solicited for the support of Nigerians in diaspora to help her actualize her dream.

Two months ago, Ibrahim Abubaka Lajada, a 34-year-old Nigerian billionaire living abroad declared his intention to run for presidency in 2019.
