Two suspected Badoo cult members have been nabbed in Ikorodu, a community in Lagos state, amid the on-going local government elections in the state.

According to a report on The Punch, the two cult members have been taken to the police station at Beach Road, Ikorodu.

Legit.ng gathered that voters turnout at Ikorodu local government has been very low and some have attributed this to the recent killings perpetrated by Badoo cult members in the area.

The arrest of the two suspected Badoo members comes just days after a female member of the dreaded group was nabbed by an angry mob in Imota town which is located in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.

According to report, the incident happened on Monday, July 17, when the yet-to-be-named woman was caught with charm and a grinding stone.

It was the timely intervention of the police that prevented her from being killed as the mob was bent on causing great harm to her.
