Housewife plans to surprise her husband with the N700k she managed to save in her piggy bank

A Nigerian lady has shared the importance of saving money after her friend who is a housewife realised N700,000 from saving in her piggy bank.

Have you ever thought of starting a business and end up dumping the idea simply because you didn't have the startup funds? This woman's story could actually inspire you to raise it.

According to a Facebook user identified Peace Ijeoma, one of her friends who decided to start saving tidbits of money in a wooden piggy bank a.k.a 'kolo' broke it open about 7 months later, to realise she had saved up to N700,000.

Ijeoma claims that her friend who happens to be a housewife, decided to surprise her husband by starting up a business with the money.

Sharing the encouraging post, she wrote:

"She is a housewife, she heard about the piggy bank savings and decided to try it out. This is from N500 from Oga for ice cream, N1000 for recharge cards. She decided to deny herself some of those stuffs and just put the money in her piggy bank.

She started the piggy bank saving in December and she has saved about N700,000. She intends to use it to start a business. She is going to surprise her hubby with this. She sent me the photos to encourage someone else.

This is to all the stay at home wives, you don't have to wait for Oga to open a state of the art business for you. There is a lot you can to do to help yourself, piggy bank savings, small scale business etc."
