Arsenal fear star striker Alexis Sanchez might be faking sickness as he looks to leave the club for Manchester City or PSG.

The 28-year-old posted a picture on Instagram with his dog claiming to be sick with the Gunners fearing it is just a move to stay away from the club.

And the £50million-rated star is in the final year of his contract and has set his heart on a move to the Etihad or Paris Saint-Germain.

Sanchez is due to report back for pre-season training soon after he was given an extended summer break by Arsene Wenger.

The Sun however reports that the club is not sure he will return after he posted an Instagram selfie claiming to be “sick” and his representatives then saying he has flu.

The player has been told that he must see out his contract after he rejected a £275,000-a-week deal to stay.

Wenger has already said PSG are interested in his player because they know getting Barcelona's Neymar could prove complicated.
