- Talks between Barcelona and Mbappe's agent have so far been successful
- The Spanish side are looking to offer a staggering £160m for the 18-year-old
- Chelsea's Eden Hazard is however seen as Neymar's perfect replacement
- Ernesto Valverde has told board members he wants to sign Hazard and Coutinho
Barcelona have held talks with Kylian Mbappe who they see as a replacement for Neymar who is closing in on a world-record £198million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Neymar has reportedly agreed a five-year-deal as he draws closer to a move to the French side.
With the money Barcelona are going to receive from the attacker's sale, Barcelona can buy almost any player they seek in world football.
As such they think they can pip rivals Real Madrid to the signing of Monaco wonder-kid Mbappe.
Monaco do not want to sell another one of their star players having seen Bernadao Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Valerie Germain, Tiemoue Bakayoko leave this summer.
However an offer of around £160m for 18-year-old Mbappe would be too much to turn down by the French champions.
L’Equipe report that talks between Barca and the player’s agent have been successful and they believe he would move to Spain despite having a new contract offer on the table.
