Presidential aide Bashir Ahmad, Davido, Mark Angel, others make 100 most influential young Africans list
A hundred young achievers across the African continent have been recognized in the 2017 Africa Youth Awards, many of them are Nigerians.
The annual list of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans is in its second year and participation has reached over 28 countries on the continent alone.
Speaking about the 2017 list, Prince Akpah, president of Africa Youth Awards noted that this year’s list has 45 women and 55 men on it.

According to Africa Youth Awards, the list compiled and approved by the awards jury made up of young Africans from across globe after public nominations were received and reviewed.
Meanwhile, AfraAsia Bank's Africa Wealth Report 2017 made a comparison of 23 African cities with the highest number of billionaires as at the year 2016.

In the list of 23 countries, Lagos, Nigeria's former capital came 4th, only topped by two South-African cities; Johannesburg and Cape Town as well as the Egyptian city of Cairo. Lagos has 4 billionaires and 360 multi-millionaires.
