The much awaited presidential elections repeat will be conducted in the next one month.
According to the electoral commission, only two candidates will be on the ballot.
IEBC has announced that the fresh presidential vote will only be between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and will be held on Tuesday, October 17.
The candidates have at least a month to campaign and according to a 2013 Supreme Court petition ruling, the winner will be determined by a simple majority.
The Supreme Court annulled Uhuru's win in an earth shattering ruling on Friday,September 1 and ordered that a repeat of the presidential vote be done within 60 days from the day of the ruling.
This came after Raila successfully petitioned the president's win arguing that the poll was full of anomalies.
But another presidential candidate in the August race Ekuru Aukot has said he will go to court after IEBC locked him out of the repeat election.
