Atiku is a nonentity who is lying about restructuring - Junaid Mohammed

- Junaid Mohammed has accused Atiku Abubakar of lying about his interest in restructuring

- He said the former vice president insults the north due to his ambitions

- The former lawmaker said Atiku would not get the presidency that he desires so much

Junaid Mohammed who is a second republic lawmaker has lashed out at Atiku Abubakar describing him as a nonentity who is not genuinely interested in restructuring.

The former vice president had said that anyone opposed to the current clamour for the restructuring of the nation is lazy but Mohammed in his reaction said Atiku was a nonentity.

The Sun reports that the former lawmaker said that Atiku thinks that by insulting the north, the south will support his presidential ambition.

He said: “Atiku is a scoundrel and a bloody nonentity. He attained political limelight because the late Musa Yar’Adua put him there; today he wants to position himself as the leader of the north. But the north doesn’t give people of no consequence such position.

“His interest is not really about restructuring. He thinks by insulting the north, the same way we are being insulted by the south, that will give him presidency With this kind of attitude, he can’t be the president of Nigeria.

“He will hear from the north at the appropriate time. He is one of those making the south to abuse the north. He is angry because his monopoly in the oil servicing sector has been broken.

“His wealth will never buy him Nigeria’s presidency. The north is not for sale, Nigeria is not for sale. I pray God sees us beyond 2019, let him challenge me, if he ever becomes Nigeria’s president.”

Legit.ng had reported that the former lawmaker said that the north should blame President Muhammadu Buhari if it does not get the presidency in 2019.

New Telegraph reports that the former lawmaker also spoke about Atiku’s interest in the 2019 presidency saying he does not believe he has any integrity.

Junaid said Buhari did not tell anyone that he would contest in the 2019 elections and that even if he did, he was not certain of winning.
