Police apprehend notorious kidnappers in north (photos)

- The police has apprehended some notorious kidnappers

The Nigerian police has recorded another success in its fight against kidnapping as its latest operation led to the arrest of some notorious kidnappers.

In a post shared by Abba Kyari, the kidnappers were notorious for terrorising the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Express Way and Birnin Gwari Road.

It was reported that the suspects were arrested by the special forces of the Nigeria Police deployed by IGP Ibrahim Idris.

Meanwhile, some armed robbers who have been terrorising the Ipaja Ayobo area of Lagos state have been apprehended by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad.

According to report, the gang which specialised in breaking into innocent people’s homes in Lagos stole vehicles and personal belongings before selling the cars to a dealer in Onitsha.

The gang members confessed that they have been carrying out the operation for more than two years.
