Buhari presides over FEC meeting ahead departure for Turkey (video)

President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday, October 18, at the State house in Abuja.

The president will after the meeting depart for Turkey on an official visit and to attend the D-8.

Bashir Ahmad, a presidential aide disclosed this on his twitter handle.

He wrote: "Pres. @MBuhari will later today depart for Istanbul, Turkey to participate in the 9th Summit of the Developing 8 (D-8) on October 20, 2017."

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com reported that Olisa Agbakoba, a former president of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), sued the federal government over the ministerial position of President Muhammadu Buhari.
