Man says Saraki's political career will be affected for allowing his daughter marry a Christian

Following the wedding of Senate President Bukola Saraki's daughter Tosin, on October 21, 2017, some people have reacted saying it will affect his career.

Tosin Saraki whose parents practice Islam and Christianity, got married to a Christian and a Facebook user is not having it as he claims it will negatively affect the political ambitions of her father.

The man identified as Nurudeen Adeyemi, took to Facebook to state that Saraki has 'has proved to the northerners that he is more of a southerner than being a northerner' by allowing the marriage to happen.

According to Adeyemi, politics in the north have a strong tie with their religion as well as marriage, and might end up affecting Saraki's presidential candidate ambitions.

See Adeyemi's post as shared on his Facebook post below:

"For Tosin Saraki, the daughter of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki to marry a Christian man that simply show that Tosin has been following the religion of her mother (Toyin Saraki) before now and it's haram for any Alfa in Ilorin to coordinate such marriage, unfortunately, Alfas Ilorin are more to money than standing for Islam, however, with this marriage, Bukola Saraki has proved to the northerners that he is more of a southerner than being a northerner and this marriage will have consequences on his political agenda even am sure some northerners politicians will make mockery of daughter's marriage, Since it's impossible to see a Muslim northerner politician to marry off his daughter to a Christian man, even he can't allow his son to marry a Christian lady, though Islam permits this but didn't permit a Muslim woman to marry a Christian man.

In the north, marriage and religion have a strong tie with their political system and with Tosin Saraki's marriage to a Christian man that will make it very very difficult for Bukola Saraki to be adopted by the northerners politicians to be the presidential candidate for the north coming any year."

Meanwhile, some pictures surfaced online, accompanied with news alleging that some of Saraki's supporters had to miss his daughter's wedding as they were locked outside, preventing them from witnessing the celebration.

Facebook user, Abiyamo, shared the pictures below, stating:

"Kwara people who are supporters of Baba Adinni aka Bukola Saraki caged and locked out of the wedding ceremony of the daughter of their great leader. I hear they were locked out so as to prevent them from erupting into nuclear battles over amala, semo or jollof rice. Hunger is real in Kwara State. I don’t even care if Kwarans insult me as usual this morning but this is a disgrace to humanity."
