Dogara, Aregbesola react to the death of Tinubu’s son

- Speaker Yakubu Dogara and Governor Rauf Aregbesola have reacted to the death of Jide Tinubu, the son of the APC national leader, Bola Tinubu

- Both men expressed deep shock at the sudden passing of Tinubu’s eldest son and commiserated with the APC leader over the unfortunate incident

- Dogara stated that the late Jide was a renowned lawyer and a hardworking individual; and that it was sad that a father had to bury his son

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has reacted to the death of Jide Tinubu, the eldest son of the All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Dogara expressed shock over the incident and praised the late Jide for being very hardworking and enterprising.

He also prayed for God to help the deceased’s family get through this trying time.

He stated on his Facebook page: “I commiserate with our national leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the demise of his son Jide.

“I was shocked to receive the sad news of the sudden death of Jide Tinubu.

“The late Jide was a lawyer of high repute who cut his teeth in the maritime sector, and was hardworking and enterprising.

“It is saddening that a father buries his son. I can only imagine your pain and grief at this time.

“I pray God almighty grants you and your family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss."

The governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola, has also reacted to the sad incident.

Aregbesola also expressed his shock in a post on his twitter handle, @raufaregbesola.

He tweeted:

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the national leader of the APC, lost his son, Jide Tinubu.

APC United Kingdom confirmed the news on their Facebook page on Wednesday, November 1.

Also, Otunba Henry Oladele Ajomale, APC chairman, Lagos state chapter, confirmed the news in a press release to the party's members.
