The Buhari presidential media team has authored a book titled: 'Making steady, sustainable progress for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity: a mid-term scorecard on the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.'
In the book, President Muhammadu Buhari declared that the culture of impunity inherited at the inception of his government, two years ago, is receding.
According to NAN, the book will be presented to the public on November 16 in Abuja.
Below is an excerpt: ‘‘Corruption, insecurity and the parlous economy were the challenges inherited at inception.
‘‘They have been addressed and are still being addressed boldly and honestly.
‘‘Steadily the culture of impunity is receding; the affront of terrorists overrunning security troops and encroaching on our territorial integrity has been reversed.
‘‘The task of revamping the economy remains work-in-progress."
The 348-page book is a compendium of notable achievements of his administration since May 29, 2015.
It was edited by Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity. Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant to the president, media and publicity, and Laolu Akande, senior special assistant to the president, media and publicity, for of the vice president.
President Buhari wrote the foreword of the the book, containing milestones of all the federal ministries and some select departments and agencies, in the last two years.

Meanwhile, there are reports that President Muhammadu Buhari will visit Ebonyi state on Tuesday, November 14, in a bid to woo the people of southeast to support the All Progressives Congress (APC).
NAIJ.com reported that apart from Imo state that is controlled by the APC in the Souteast, the four other states are controlled by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
