Technocrats have teemed up ahead of 2019 general election to form a new new political party, Alliance For New Nigeria with the aim of bringing positive changes to the country.
The party says it has the mission to make Nigeria a truly great country by harnessing its human and abundant natural resources through massive investments in education, innovation and technology, respect for human rights and human security while promoting a united country loved at home and respected abroad.
Speaking on the party, May Ubeku wrote: "With the National Exco of Alliance For New Nigeria, ANN this evening. ANN is made up of technocrats from different career fields, meeting to start off a new political party. A party that that is ready to do politicking differently to give birth to a new Nigeria. A new Nigeria that would work and outlive us. Brilliant idea!
"I commend the interim chairman, Dr Jay Osi Samuels for this bold step.
"It was an interesting meeting. Thanks for the special invitation, Mr Michael Kelikume, Interim vice chairman, southsouth and Sis Moji Danisa Dawodu."
