Buhari commissions 700m length of Twin Flyover Bridges from Enugu to Cameroon

- President Muhammadu Buhari has commissioned the 700m length of the Dr Akanu Ibiam Twin Flyover Bridges which run through the African Trans-Sahara route

- The flyover bridges run from Enugu to Cameroon and the president commissioned a portion of the project during his visit to Ebonyi state

- Buhari also commissioned other projects including the Senator Offia Nwali Flyover and the Muhammadu Buhari Flyover Bridge/Road Tunnel

The 700m length of the Dr Akanu Ibiam Twin Flyover Bridges over the African Trans-Sahara route running from Enugu to Cameroon has been commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, Vanguard reports.

The president commissioned the project on Tuesday, November 14, during his visit to Ebonyi state.

Legit.ng gathers that while on the highly anticipated visit, Buhari also laid the foundation stone for the Ebonyi City Mall and unveiled a statue of Dr Akanu Ibiam.

The president further commissioned the Senator Offia Nwali Flyover and laid the foundation stone for the President Muhammadu Buhari Flyover Bridge/Road Tunnel.

Recall that Legit.ng previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Ebonyi state safely in the morning of Tuesday, November 14, and was received by Governor Dave Umahi and his colleagues from the southeast.

The president arrived the state capital, Abakaliki, in a helicopter for a two-day working visit to Ebonyi and Anambra states.
