Some incompetent ministers in Buhari's cabinet shouldn’t have lasted 6 months - APC chieftain

- A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, Hakeem Baba Ahmed has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to reshuffle his cabinet without further delay

- He also noted that the president still one year to fulfil the promises made to the electorate

A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna, Hakeem Baba Ahmed has given reasons President Muhammadu Buhari should reshuffle his cabinet.

Daily Trust reports that while speaking on the programme, Babban Gammo on Alheri Radio in Kaduna, Baba Ahmed said the earlier a cabinet reshuffle, the better for the APC and Buhari administration.

NAIJ.com gathered that he said some ministers shouldn’t have lasted six months due to incompetence.

“But they are still there two years after. So I think the President needs to reshuffle his cabinet to allow competent hand in so that they can help him execute his good policies.

“We still have campaign promises that are yet to be fulfilled. ‎The president still have a year to fulfil those promises made to the electorates and I think in a year he can fulfil most of the promises made to Nigerians,” he noted.

Baba Ahmed said Nigerians still have confidence in President Buhari's administration therefore the president need to work with competent people as ministers to keep the peoples confident repose on him.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari is considering a proposal to restructure some of the ministries, appoint eight new ministers and reshuffle his cabinet.
