Despite the progress so far recorded by the administration of Muhammadu Buhari in the last two years and months, the Sage Africa, a civil society group, has declared that the president does not deserve a second term in office.
According to the group, President Buhari is yet to fully fulfil his electoral promises.
At the time of this report, the presidency was yet to officially react to the allegation of Sage Africa.
The Punch reports that the organisation advised Buhari to avoid nursing a second term ambition at a time the citizens are living in frustration under the administration.

The report quoted the director of the group, Joshua Asubiojo, as speaking on Thursday, November 30, in Abuja, where he claimed that the actions and policies of the government had worsened the unemployment rate in the country.
Asubiojo said many Nigerians have been left without jobs citing the termination of the contract between the Nigerian Ports Authority and Intels Nigeria Ltd as a case.
“President Muhammadu Buhari has not done enough to deserve a second term in office; he has largely failed to fulfill his electoral promise.
“He has also failed to empower the youths as he promised. A high number of agencies are without heads, making them directionless.
“Buhari’s plan to seek re-election is a slap on Nigerians’ (faces)," he said.

The coordinator of the group in the South-South, Clive Igbinevbo, also said: “The government should be taking decisions that would attract investment and create jobs, rather than embarking on punitive action against business owners who are seen as constituting a threat to the president’s second term ambition.”
Legit.ng earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari recently gave clues that he will seek re-election in 2019.
The issue of whether Buhari will run for the 2019 presidency had been a subject of debate in the public, with political analysts insisting that his body language is in the affirmative, especially now that the president’s support groups are drumming support for him.
