Atiku made the comparison on Twitter on Monday, December 4, when answering inquiries by a Twitter user, by name Tayo Oviosu, who asked if Nigerians could make room for new up and coming leaders.
"Don’t you think Nigeria needs fresh young leaders vs leaders who have been there before? You have been VP and served well. Can we not make room for new up and coming leaders?”
Oviosu asked Abubakar to be candid in his response if he wanted his vote.
Abubakar (@atiku) responded: “Tayo, leadership is like business. I say my product is the best because I believe it is. You say your product is the best because you believe it is."

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that Atiku sought no concession when he returned to the party.
The acting chairman of the party, Senator Ahmed Makarfi who made the clarification on Monday, December 4, said the former vice president sought no concession to return and that the party offered none.
Makarfi disclosed this at the inauguration of its convention committee in Abuja.
Meanwhile, a PDP chieftain and former governorship aspirant in Adamawa state, Dr Umar Ardo, said ex-president Atiku Abubakar’s return will be the source of the conflict in the party.
Ardo said: “Atiku is not coming in to build the party; he is coming to further his own ambition, and that will be the source of the conflict. Already, the conflict has been sown in Adamawa state because we won’t accept the illegality he just created in the state, and it will blossom to the national level."
