Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, December 6, presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Council Chambers, State House, Abuja.
NAIJ.com gathered that Osinbajo is representing President Muhammadu Buhari who is presently in Kano state on a two day working visit.
The meeting which started at about 11 am, had in attendance the chief of staff to the president Abba Kyari, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, the head of service of the federation Winifred Eyo-Ita and minister of women Affairs Aisha Alhassan.
However the National Security Adviser Babagana Monguno, and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and minister of justice Abubakar Malami and the minister of interior Abdulrahman Danbazzau were absent.

NAIJ.com previously reported that President Muhammadu Buhari arrived Kano state on a two day working visit.
The president left the Aso Rock Villa Abuja in a helicopter in the morning of Wednesday, December 6, accompanied by top officials of his government.
The presidency also confirmed that he arrived the state where he is expected to commission some projects built by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
