His words: “NANS hereby appeal to Governor WillieObiano to stay away from an alleged swearing in of a non-elected student leader purportedly holding in Awka tomorrow (today).

“We hereby let Nigerians know that the Zone B election was successfully held at the Federal University Otueke Bayelsa state where 1 got 59 votes, Ezenagu Victor from Enugu Zone got ten votes and Okeke Kenneth who is being sworn in got 5 votes.

“Bringing Governor Willie Obiano as a special guest to this impunity is a sacrilege unprecedented in the history of NANS.

“Nigerians students may have no choice then to start Operation Destroy Willie Obiano which will involve national mass action against Anambra state properties both inside and outside Anambra state.

“This is the best time to caution Obiano's aides who were hurriedly integrated in government because of former NANS President Tony Nwoye who contested at the last election.”

Meanwhile, NANS have called for an open and public investigation into the alleged looting of pension fund.

The association made the demand in an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, signed by the president of NANS, Aruna Kadiri.
