- President Buhari has set social media on fire after tweeting photos of himself on his farm in Daura
- The president only wanted to inspire Nigerians to take up agriculture like him but the message was missed by a number of people
- Even the president's footwear in the photos has become a source of discussion
President Muhammadu Buhari is presently in his hometown in Daura, Katsina state for a short rest and visit to his farm.
To inspire other Nigerians to take up farming, President Buhari tweets pictures of himself on his farm tending plants and watching his cattle.
But the pictures instead caused furore on social media where Nigerians took to comparing pre-presidential pictures of his farm in 2015 to the current ones.
While some claimed that the president's cows are fatter than they were two years ago, others got the president's message and hailed his growing farm.
Others simply felt the news of him on his farm or the nature of his business outside the presidential office matters little.
Some people are just all about the president's snazzy footwear captured in the farm photos.
Meanwhile, days after returning from the counter-terrorism summit in Aqaba, Jordan; the Presidency has revealed that President Buhari will again jet out for another global summit in Paris, France.
NAIJ.com quoted a statement from presidential spokesman Femi Adesina on Sunday, December 10 as saying that President Buhari will depart Nigeria on Monday, December 11 for the climate change event.
The President will be accompanied by the governors of Adamawa, Kano and Ondo states as well as the foreign affairs minister Geoffrey Onyeama and environment minister Ibrahim Usman Jibril.
