Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly killed three people and abducted ten others in Niger state.
Vanguard reports that the incident occurred along Kaduna-Sarkin-Pawa road in Munya local government area of the state.
It was gathered that the abductors were part of the kidnap syndicate that was dislodged from the Abuja–Kaduna road.
The criminal gang has reportedly shifted its area of operation to Niger state.
Just on Friday, December 8, an aide to Senator Shehu Sani (APC-Kaduna Central) on Youth Matters, Bashir Ahmad, was kidnapped.
NAIJ.com had reported that Senator Sani said Ahmad, 45, was kidnapped by some gunmen in Tudun Wada Area of Kaduna South, Kaduna State.
He said the victim had some weeks ago reported to the police that some unknown gunmen had visited his residence in search of him.
Also, NAIJ.com reported that Senator Ayo Arise and his driver, who were kidnapped on Sunday, December 3, were released by their abductors after spending five days in captivity.
Arise, who was released on Friday morning by his abductors at an undisclosed location in Ijumu local government area of Kogi state, was left alone to find his way home.
