2019: There is no northerner alive who can defeat Buhari - Lauretta Onochie

- Lauretta Onochie, aide to President Muhammadu Buhari, has reacted to the outcome of the recently-held PDP national convention

- In agreement with an Abuja-based lawyer, Daniel Bwalla, she stated that there is no northerner alive who can defeat President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019

- According to Onochie, following the outcome of the PDP convention, the opposition party is now done and dusted

Lauretta Onochie, personal assistant on social media to President Muhammadu Buhari, has stated that there is no northerner alive who can defeat the president in 2019.

She made the comment on her Twitter handle, @Laurestar, on Sunday, December 10.

Legit.ng notes that Onochie’s statement was in agreement with a similar quote by an Abuja-based lawyer and lecturer, Daniel Bwalla, during a Channels TV interview.

She further agreed with Bwalla that in terms of the recently held national convention of the PDP, the opposition party is ‘done and dusted’.

In a related development, Legit.ng previously reported that Charles Udo Udeogaranya, an aspirant for the 2019 presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), stated that the recently-held national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would make the opposition party very easy to defeat.

Udeogaranya made the comments after the election of Uche Secondus as the PDP national chairman.

The aspirant called on the APC national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, to urgently begin a process of wooing the South-west PDP leaders and members who lost out at the PDP convention, to the ruling party.
